My experience with RSM was highly positive. My Cat D1 trainer, Trina, excelled in creating a patient and relaxed atmosphere, which made a significant difference in my learning. Her extensive knowledge and clear communication made the training both engaging and informative. I found this approach to be very effective.I also had the opportunity to learn from Ian, who brought considerable expertise to the table. The entire RSM team was not only friendly but also consistently welcoming, starting from the booking process for theory tests. Recently passed my class 1 and i can’t express enough how good they were! They really made the whole experience as stress free as possible and my week training with Jeff or Geof was such a fun week as he was hilarious and really knows what he’s doing so he made it such a fun and easy experience for me! I would highly recommend this company for minibus training. The team that helped train me and help me though my tests were Steve, Ian and Treena. They were all excellent. I also liked their good customer service provided by Louisa and Alina, they sent lovely congratulation messages when I passed my theory tests, which I thought was a nice touch. I passed first time with Treena's help.

A five star experience from start to finish. I started my training back in 2021. The ladies in the office are fantastic they handled everything from start to finish and are polite and professional. Everyone at RSM are friendly, always a good morning and smile makes for a happy experience! Must say a massive thank you to Mark he was my instructor for my class 2 training in 2021 and for my class 1 Training in 2024 passed both 1st time and couldn’t be happier!

Wow what a week!!!I have nothing but praise for the team at RSM, from booking my theory to passing my class D & CPC.I echo what Simon & Nathan have said, I also already have my class C+E and Treena tailored the course around this.Treena was amazing, we hit it off straight away, a first class instructor, she’s a credit to the company!!I did my CPC with Steve, he was funny, friendly & very knowledgeable too.Both Treena & Steve taught me how to actually drive the coach, and not just how to pass the test.I was never made to feel nervous, everyone was encouraging & friendly.I’m gutted I’ve already got my C+E as I would definitely book with RSM again.I totally recommend RSM to anyone who is considering professional driving qualifications.Definitely a week to remember!!Thank you all at RSM!!

RSM helped me pass my class 2 test! Very easily set up with them booking my lessons, theory, CPC and practical test for me. For the lessons I was with Russ, who was great! I recently completed my cat D licence with RSM. Treena was able tailor the course to me with my previous experience of a class 2 licence and put me at ease throughout. I was trained in a real world situation and how to handle real life situations on the road rather than just how to pass a test which ultimately resulted in a first time pass on test day.A thank you to the whole team who made the whole experience (theory right through to the practical driving test) a breeze and as stress free as possible.

What can be said about Treena and the team at RSM?Apart from the fact that the whole team are excellent. Every member of staff I met were polite, friendly and smiling. Overall the centre was a pleasure to be at. The staff were brilliant, from Louisa and Rhia in the office who arranged the course dates and payment to Treena and the other instructors working the frontline so to speak!I had Treena as my instructor for a 4 day Category D DVSA course. She was professional, polite and friendly throughout and was a credit to the company. She taught me everything I could possibly need to pass first time and to keep me driving safely in the future.Much as with Simon's review below she tailored the training to the knowledge I already had from my CE licence, which is a skill in itself.I hope to return to this company to complete further training in other areas and look forward to meeting more members of their outstanding staff.I would certainly recommend RSM to anyone considering doing any driver training.

Huge Thank you to Treena and the team at RSM. Right from initial contact through to final test the process has been painless. I did the Cat D licence and the training is very structured compared to other companies, but it was great that Treena was able to tailor it for my previous C+E experience. I would say the training is excellent and to point. I don’t just feel I was taught how to pass a test, but actually how to drive in the real world. What an amazing bunch of people from the receptionists to the instructors, so helpful. I had trina and Russ as my instructors and they were incredible, their knowledge of the vehicles and of the area where you take your test were impeccable. I was accepted onto the Government Bootcamp novice to C+E intensive course.The two instructors I had Russ for the C class and Geoff for the C+E were both excellent. They were both knowledgeable, and instructed me well. They would tell me at the time when I made a mistake, however not bombard me with info as I was concentrating, rather at the debriefs during rest or at the end, they would go into detail as to what I did wrong, what consequences that may have and what I should do instead. That way I could fully understand how to become a better driver rather than just being told what to do to get through the test.I couldn't have asked for better instructors. I would highly recommend RSM if you're thinking of doing the course

I had an intensive course booked towards the end of November/ beginning of December for my HGV Class 2 which I passed. The team from the office staff to the instructors were all so professional and welcoming. Can't recommend them enough !
Amazing training instructors I first had dave on the first week in a rigid and he pushed me and showed me the ropes of how and what to do then on the second week I had Jeff and that's where things got fun jumping into the big boy truck where he further pushed me to better myself right up until my test where I manged to fly through with no faults would highly recommend great members of staff all round and a great company

We had another driver pass first time (with no experience of lorries) with 0 faults at the start of the year, and have just put another 2 of our drivers through their 35 hours of periodic training (one being our transport manager, for his second time - poor soul!). Dave is brilliant, making the course interesting and as 'pain free' as he could throughout the week - adding in extra information where needed, and passing on a lot of his own experience from his driving days - both guys came away having learned some new things to take into their own driving.Having now put 5 drivers through their cat C licenses, and so far 8 drivers through their periodic training, it's always a pleasure to have a reason to make contact with Alina and Louisa! Friendly as ever, nothings ever too much - we couldn't recommend them highly enough.Thanks as always to the RSM Team, plenty more training coming up!
Mick is amazing, intelligent, active and very supportive even though I have failed my class C+E but he trained me very well. He tried his best but I didn’t succeed. Soon I will come back this place and I will do my best so let seeAlina helped me a lot as I had only week in my theory to expired had £500 discount which was really good thing

Passed my LGV Cat C first time with RSM. Organisation by the office was fantastic from medical to test. Many thanks to Mick who is an outstanding instructor. I recently started setting the foundations for a new career in HGV driving. RSM have been great from my initial enquiry. Louisia in the office was very helpful with getting everything set up and my trainer Mick was a perfect fit for me. I just passed my C1 licence with RSM, across my week training I was instructed by Mick, Jay, and Mark who were all brilliant with their training. They all adapted the training to my learning style and explained the expectations for the exam in clear terms and clearly explained what I need to do to achieve that level then all helped me to drive to that level. Years ago I approached RSM to get my HGV journey started, with medicals and theory tests etc.. From that initial meeting I knew RSM were an extremely professional company, and when it came to doing my Class 1 lessons in July this year, I was not surprised to see the same level of professionalism was there- if not more!Mick was the absolute legend who took me out on my lessons for the week and I cannot thank him enough for helping me, especially with the reverse test! Mick also made me feel more and more confident as time went by, and we still had a laugh, and remained professional throughout the week and because of that I passed my Class 1 first time with zero minors!Everyone there was so nice, from the girls in the office to the team of instructors.I would 100% recommend RSM for all your HGV needs, you really cannot get any better in my opinion!Thanks guys!
I was impressed by the stars but...The clerical team is brilliant, accurate. The first trainer, Mick is a great man.The other trainer just played with the phone all day long. Unfortunately the school's methods didn't work, I became stressed by the end of the week and failed on the test. I don't know the reason, they didn't explained a single word.When I complained to my agency they began to spread lies about me.The training room was freezing cold.Finally I found the Robinson and with their training I made a successful test for the first try.
Best place to get your drivers licenses!Stuff super friendly and helpful starting from the girls in the office to all the instructors.I had Mark and David as instructors there are both very professional, helpful and super patient.I was so scared to drive a manual vehicle special a C1 after I stopped 15 years ago.Clutch control and changing gears was my biggest fear . After 2 weeks training with the professionals Mark and David I overcome all my fears.Thank you very much .

I went though RSM to get my Articulated Lorry license and could not be more please. I passed first time thanks to Mark who trained me, he was very professional and is a great teacher. I went to their training depot in Colchester which was convenient for me as I am from Ipswich. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new career.

Absolutely enjoyed every part of my direct access course through RSM for a Class 1 C+E licence. My dad passed with them last year upgrading from his Class 2, so I decided to give it a go. Both my instructors made me feel at ease over the 2 weeks and thoroughly knew what they were doing.Apart from letting my nerves get the better of me a little during my test, I went in feeling very confident I'd come out happy, and I got it 1st first.I would recommend anyone interested in going for an upgrade to their licence coming through here, especially after seing them take other guys/girls who have failed elsewhere and bring them comfortably up to pass.

Passed today with the ever amazing Tom. Started out so unsure and worried about what it would be like to drive such a large object. From the minute I sat in the cab toms words and actions were reassuring and informative. Honestly what a life changer the pass is and to do it with such ease, confidence and knowledge that was instilled into me via Tom. I passed my C1E driving test today, first time!!! And it's all credit to the team at RSM but especially Mick. Mick was my instructor, who took me out each day, but I also had Jay once and also Jay for my reverse instruction, who were both brilliant. Mick taught me the superb skills to carry on throughout my driving life, and how to be a safe and professional driver. He made it a very fun and I really enjoyed his company. His knowledge of the road and his teaching skills were absolutely brilliant and second to none. I can't thank him enough for teaching me how to be a better safer driver. They say you never forget a great teacher, and I will never forget Mick for his brilliant training. Thankyou to Mick and the whole team at RSM! Hopefully see you again one day in the near future!
RSM were incredible at getting me through my C1 course so I could go on to drive an Ambulance. The admin team were really efficient and corresponding with me and getting me booked in as soon as possible, being flexible with my schedule. My instructor; Mick, was amazing and I cannot recommend him enough. He was approachable, patient and encouraging the whole way throughout my lessons, even when I doubted myself. He took all the time needed to get me from being a beginner to being confident on the road, and made me feel relaxed the whole time. All the other staff I met along the way were friendly as well. I cannot recommend RSM enough and if you want to smash your C1, ask for Mick!

I undertook my C1 Driver Training with RSM a couple of weeks ago to be able to drive an ambulance. I passed my C1 first time with no minors last Saturday. I would like to thank my instructor Mark as he is definitely the reason I done so well and passed my test. I could not have asked for a better instructor and I believe Marks instruction is the reason I felt so confident and at ease, Mark ensured I was pushed to my ability to do the best I possibly could but in a safe manor. So a big thank you to Mark and the RSM team for making me feel so comfortable and at ease. Mark is a very competent instructor, very knowledgable and makes you believe in yourself more and have more confidence. I Would 100% recommend RSM anyone. My instructor was Sarah, she was brilliant, she made me feel at ease, gave me confidence and valuable knowledge. I really enjoyed learning the skills needed. Every member of the RSM team I encountered was lovely and shared their advice. So if your looking to try a new career in this industry, I would highly recommend RSM.
Great experience training at RSM for my class 1 license! The girls on reception have been so helpful guiding me through the whole process. Massive shout out to Christian and Mark for training me on the rigid and then moving me up into the artic. They were excellent, very informative, calm and supportive through the whole thing! The other instructors at RSM were wonderful too sharing experiences of their years on the road and helpful tips to take with me for my years ahead in the trucking industry! They were all happy to answer any questions I had.Female friendly environment I didn't feel I was treated any different which was nice!Highly recommend booking in with these guys!I'm so thrilled I have my class 1 license now! Really pleased I chose to train with RSM!
My experience with RSM has been fantastic from start to finish. Booking my training course itself was a breeze, at every stage everyone has been so friendly and informative. As someone who booked and paid for the course off my own back, this was very important to me and played a massive part in making me decide to go with RSM. Having come from bus driving previously, I was deemed ready to make the most of the change in staging rules and go straight into a C+E vehicle & test. I had Russ for my assessment and training, and I honestly could not say a bad word at all about him! He is an excellent instructor, very well informed and made sure I knew everything I needed to do to meet the requirements of the test. We chatted loads along the way and I felt completely comfortable throughout every step of my training. I passed my off-road manoeuvres test first-time, and then went confidently into my HGV C+E driving test soon after. Which I’m pleased to say I passed first-time also! I couldn’t have done it without the excellent training I received from Russ, and the service and hospitality from everyone in the office and the rest of the training team was second to none. I honestly can not recommend them enough, and if this kind of training is a path you are looking to go down - you should 100% pick up the phone and have a chat with RSM!
